Morning

It is the second week of the year, but this is my first post. I shall catch up. Please enjoy.

In the morning I wake, crack one bleary eye.

Now I’ve got to choose:

Either slap snooze,

Or stumble out of bed with a sigh.

Quick! Boil water for tea,

And make some breakfast as well.

Now some time with just the Lord and me

To prepare for the oncoming quell

Perhaps a text to my beau,

Then on with my clothes,

Clean my face, teeth, and nose -

Grab my bag, and I’m ready to go!
